Austin Stuhr of Heartland broke the Nebraska 8-man single season rushing record on November 2, 2016. The Heartland Huskies defeated East Butler in the second round of the D1 playoffs, 70-42. Stuhr finished the night with 30 carries, 334 yards rushing & six TDs. The record now sits at 2,996 yards.
