The Nebraska 8-Man Coaches Association is excited to announce their continuing partnership with Striv Sports in preparation for their upcoming All-Star Game on June 18th in Hastings.
The 39th annual game will kickoff on Lloyd Wilson Field at Hastings College at 1:30 PM. The broadcast for the game can be watched live online at strivsports.com. Full rosters and coaches can be found on the coaches association website.
“We had great feedback from streaming the game last year, and are are excited to continue to offer the live stream for our game that features the very best 8-man players in the state,” said Rod Brummels, head coach at Osmond and President of the Nebraska 8-Man Coaches Association. “We think this partnership will continue to promote the game of 8-Man football throughout the state of Nebraska.”
In addition to the game, Striv Sports will provide exclusive coverage of camp throughout the week beginning when players report on Sunday afternoon, June 12. The camp will host media day on Monday, June 13 from 11:00-noon.
Taylor Siebert, President and CEO of Striv, Inc., said the opportunity to partner with the association is a perfect fit.
“Our passion at Striv and Striv Sports is sharing stories,” Siebert said. “Sharing the story of the 8-man association and this game was a great opportunity for us last year.
“We hope this year, we can add some more fun to the broadcast and make it enjoyable for viewers. The game has been a long standing Hastings tradition and we look forward to sharing that story through our coverage and through the live stream of the game.”
Striv Sports director Eric Allgood will provide play-by-play for the game with writer Tony Chapman serving as color commentator. 2015 Most Valuable Player Chris Konicek, a Clarkson-Leigh graduate, will be on the sidelines providing updates as well.
