VB THURSDAY | Class C-1, No. 5 Hastings St. Cecilia at No. 4 Grand Island Central Catholic: Familiar foes. Familiar coaches. Some old and new faces square off early. Both teams up in Class C-1 this year after playing in the Class C-2 state championship in November.
VB SATURDAY | Wahoo Invitational: An all day affair that now features the top-ranked host Warriors who are in the Omaha World-Herald all class top-ten. Wahoo setter Elle Glock is a Southern California commit.
Your preview for softball includes:
SB TUESDAY | Class C, No. 1 Fairbury at Class B, No. 6 Crete: Two teams who have been perennial contenders for the state titles in recent years square off in Crete. The Jeffs offense has been explosive, scoring nine or more runs in eight of their first 10 contests.
SB THURSDAY | Class B, No. 3 Norris at Class B, No. 2 Seward: Two of Class B’s early front runners to challenge Omaha Skutt for the top-ranking square off in Seward. The Bluejays have just a pair of one-fun losses, while Norris went 2-1 with two Class A wins over the weekend at the Lincoln East Invitational.
