Our first Channel Seed Game of the Week lands us in York for the marquee Week One matchup in Class B. The defending champions from Elkhorn South travel to take on York in a 2015 quarterfinal rematch, that ES won 10-7.
The Storm return most of their backfield, led by junior running back/slot back Moses Bryant. Also quarterback Braden Wright and running back Brayton Haley round out an explosive backfield. York also brings back a solid core in their backfield, with QB Damon Kaliff, RB Alex Kowalski and QB Nick Weskamp. On defense, the Storm will have to replace All-State LB Tanner Meyo, who anchored the Storm defense. The Dukes feature Nebraska-committ Masry Mapeiu at NG, Kowalski and junior Simon Otte patrol the middle of a stingy unit.
